Before you close

  • Heads: withdraw your available earnings first. Pending earnings clear as normal and we'll pay them to your default method if they reach the minimum.
  • Requesters: unused credits can be refunded under our refund policy. Ask before closing.

How to close

In the app, go to You, then Privacy, data and appeals, then Delete account. On the web, go to Settings, then Delete account. We'll ask you to confirm it's you.

What happens

  • Your account is closed straight away and deleted after a 30-day grace period. Sign in within 30 days to cancel.
  • Your phone number is deleted; we keep a scrambled copy for 12 months so it can't be used to sign straight back up.
  • Your answers stay in the results they're part of, but are cut loose from you.
  • Payment records, invoices, statements and tax details are kept for six years after the tax year, because the law requires it.

We email you when deletion is complete.
