Canceling a question
While a question is live, you can cancel it from its results page. Answers already given are paid for; the rest of the reserved credits come straight back to your balance. The confirmation shows the exact amount.
Questions that close short or are refused
- If fewer heads answer than you asked for, you pay only for the answers you got.
- If a question breaks our acceptable use policy, it's refused before anyone sees it and nothing is spent.
Disputing a result
If you think something went wrong with a result, dispute it within 7 days of it closing, from the results page. A person reviews it. If we agree, you get the credits back and a credit note.
Refunds of unused credits
- If you bought as a consumer: you can cancel within 14 days of buying and get back any credits you haven't used.
- Anyone: we'll refund unused credits at the price you paid when you close your account, less any bonus credits.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from. The full terms are in our refund policy.
Credits bought for a team
Credits bought for a team belong to the team, not to the person who paid. If the team doesn't need them, its owner can ask us to refund the unused credits. They go back to the cards or accounts the team paid from, newest purchase first, at the price paid, less any bonus credits. Each refund comes with a credit note.
Card payments we check first
Now and then we check a card payment before adding the credits, and we email you when we do. If we can't accept it, we refund all of it to your card and add no credits.
