Verification at sign-up isn't enough on its own: phones and accounts change hands. So checks keep going, lightly.
Tier 1: confirm your phone once a month
If you earned anything in the last 30 days, we'll ask you once, at the start of a session, to confirm the same mobile number with a code. It takes about ten seconds.
If the number no longer works, you'll move to Tier 0 until you verify a new one. Earnings already made aren't affected.
Tier 2 and 3: a quick face check at random
Now and then, before a question, the app asks for a three-second face check. It confirms the person answering is the person who verified. Dismissing it three times drops you to Tier 1.
Other times we ask
- Signing in on a new phone, or after reinstalling the app.
- Adding or changing a payout method.
- Changing country.
Why this matters
These checks are what let requesters trust that a Tier 1 answer is from one person with one phone, and a Tier 2 answer from one verified identity. They take seconds for someone playing fair and cost a lot for anyone trying to run many accounts.
