The Earnings tab shows two numbers that are never mixed up.
- Pending: earned, still inside the holding period.
- Available: cleared and ready to withdraw.
Pending money is already earned. It is not unpaid.
How long earnings are pending
New earnings clear in up to 7 days, or 3 days at Tier 3 (Established). Each pending line in your history says the day it becomes available, and we notify you when money clears.
Founding heads
The first 1,000 heads to verify their phone in a country where we pay heads are founding heads. For their first 30 days, up to €58 of new earnings a week clear in 48 hours instead; anything over that in the same 7 days waits the usual hold. If our checks need longer on an account, its earnings wait the usual hold.
Founding heads also get a €5 welcome bonus after their first 10 accepted says at Tier 1 or above, once per person. It goes into Pending and clears like the rest of your pay.
Why we hold earnings
Some checks can only run after the fact: known-answer questions, timing patterns across many answers, and requester disputes. Holding new earnings for a few days lets us catch fraud before money leaves. That means we take back less money from people afterwards.
What can change a pending amount
Rarely, an answer is taken back after it was paid into Pending, for example if it's found to come from a farm of accounts. When that happens, the amount is removed from Pending and the row shows as Taken back, with the reason. If you think it's wrong, appeal. A person who was not part of the decision decides within 48 hours.
Warm-up earnings before you verify your phone
What you earn on warm-up questions before verifying your phone stays in Pending. The row says "Verify your phone to make these available". When you verify your phone, it becomes Available.
