Withdrawing

  1. Open Earnings and tap Withdraw.
  2. Choose where to send it. The Withdraw screen starts on the usual choice for your country, and you can pick another.
  3. Check the amount that will arrive, in the method's own currency, after any fee and currency exchange.
  4. Confirm.

The minimum withdrawal is $7 in most countries; the rates by country page lists the rest. You can withdraw from the app or on the web.

Where you can be paid

Which methods you see depends on your country:

  • UK, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey: PayPal, or a UK bank account from Tier 2.
  • US: Venmo, PayPal or a bank account.
  • Canada: PayPal or a bank account.
  • India, the Philippines and Brazil: PayPal.
  • Everywhere else we pay: PayPal or a bank transfer.

Payouts arrive in your own currency. PayPal pays in pounds, dollars, euros or Canadian dollars, whichever your account uses with us; Venmo pays in US dollars; a UK bank in pounds; and a bank transfer in your bank's currency.

Fees

The first withdrawal each calendar month is free, except a bank transfer that needs a currency exchange. After that:

  • PayPal and Venmo: 2% of the amount, up to $27.
  • UK bank: $0.25.
  • Bank transfer: $0.65, and always $0.65 when it needs a currency exchange, even the first of the month.

The fee is shown on the Withdraw screen before you confirm. If your payout needs a currency exchange, the rate is the provider's live quote and the amount shown is what you'll receive. The automatic month-end payout is the cheapest way to be paid: one withdrawal a month, usually free.

How long it takes

Withdrawals go out in two batches each UK business day, at 09:00 and 17:00 UK time. After the batch:

  • PayPal and Venmo: the same or the next UK business day.
  • UK bank: the same UK business day.
  • Bank transfer: 1–3 business days, depending on your country.

A new or changed Venmo account can be paid 48 hours after you add it. The confirmation screen tells you when to expect your money.

Automatic payout

Switch on Automatic monthly payout in You and we'll send your available balance to your default method at the end of each month, if it's above the minimum.

Before your first withdrawal

Some countries need tax details first. The Withdraw button will take you there if they're missing.

If a payout fails

The money comes back to Available and we tell you why, for example a name that doesn't match the account. Fix the detail and try again. If a method can't be paid right now, for example Venmo is paused or a bank account needs Tier 2, the Withdraw screen says so and takes you to your payout methods.
