50heads is free on the App Store and Google Play. You need an iPhone or an Android phone that hasn't been rooted or jailbroken, and you need to be 18 or over.

The app won't run on emulators or modified phones. That isn't a fault: it is how we can promise requesters that every answer comes from a real device.

Sign in

Choose one of three ways:

  • Sign in with Apple
  • Sign in with Google
  • Email: type your address and we send a six-digit code and a link. Use whichever is easier on the phone in your hand. The code lasts 15 minutes.

There are no passwords. If you later sign in with a different method that uses the same verified email, we'll offer to link it to your existing account.

Before you can earn

Signing in puts you at Tier 0, which means practice questions only. To be paid:

  1. Verify your phone number. It takes about a minute.
  2. Answer a few warm-up questions so you know how it works.

Anything you earn on warm-up questions moves to Available once your phone is verified.

Using more than one device

You can be signed in on the web and on your phone at once. Answering only happens in the app. On the web you can see earnings, change payout details and read statements.
