Why some questions pay more
The price a requester pays, and so your pay, goes up when a question:
- takes longer to read;
- asks for more than one tap, such as ranking or free text;
- includes images or a sound clip;
- is a rush question that needs answers within the hour;
- is targeted at people like you, shown as a boost such as "+25% · matches you".
Is pay the same in every country?
Yes. We pay the same rate everywhere we pay, before currency conversion. The app shows amounts in your currency using the day's rate. See pay rates by country.
Practice questions
At Tier 0 you see practice questions with the pay struck through. What you earn on warm-up questions becomes available once you verify your phone.
Accepted answers
You're paid for accepted answers. An answer can be rejected if it fails an attention check, arrives too fast to have been read, or comes from an account we find is breaking the rules. If you think we got it wrong, appeal.
