People who answer on 50heads ("heads") are independent contractors who choose when and whether to work. We still think we owe them clear, fair and published pay. This statement sets out how we do that.
Our pay commitments
- Heads get 70% of every answer's price. The share is fixed, so when requesters pay more (longer questions, images, rush, targeting), heads get more in proportion.
- Pay is shown before the answer. Every question shows what it pays. What it shows is what an accepted answer pays.
- The same rate everywhere. We pay the same rate in every country we pay, before currency conversion.
- A floor. A Tier 1 answer will never pay less than €0.09, and a Tier 2 answer never less than €0.25, whatever the question.
- Notice of changes. We give heads at least 30 days' notice in the app before any change that lowers pay.
- Time to pay. Earnings clear within 7 days and can be withdrawn from €5.9. The first withdrawal each month is free.

What it isn't
Answering questions is not a full-time income, and we don't market it as one. Earnings depend on how many questions there are in a head's language.
Rejections and appeals
Answers are rejected only for the reasons in our terms for heads. No rejection is silent: within a day it shows in your history as Not paid, with the reason, and you can appeal it. Earnings are clawed back only after a confirmed fraud investigation, for the period affected, and show the same way. A person decides pay appeals within 48 hours and pays the answer if we got it wrong; other appeals get a reply within five business days. We publish the numbers in our transparency note.
Modern slavery
We don't tolerate forced labor, trafficking or child labor in our business or supply chain. We check that each account belongs to one adult, pay only into accounts in the head's name at higher tiers, and look for accounts controlled by someone else (for example, many accounts paid to one person), which we investigate as a possible sign of exploitation as well as fraud. We ask our suppliers (hosting, payments, identity checks) for their own modern slavery commitments.
