We use as few cookies as we can. We don't use advertising cookies. We'd like to use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, so the site asks first: a banner offers "Accept analytics cookies" and "Reject analytics cookies" side by side, and Google Analytics stays off until you accept.

These are strictly necessary for the site to do what you asked, so the law doesn't require consent for them.
Analytics
We measure visits to the public site with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across sites.
If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics on the website and the portal to count visits and see which pages people find useful. Until you accept, the Google Analytics script isn't loaded at all, so nothing is sent to Google. We use Google's consent mode with advertising signals always denied: we don't use Google Analytics for advertising or to build profiles. Google Analytics then sets:

The law requires your consent for these cookies, so we ask first and you can say no just as easily.
Third parties
When you sign in with Google or Apple, their sign-in services may set their own cookies under their own policies. Payment pages run by Stripe set cookies needed to take payment safely.
Changing your choices
Choose Cookie settings at the foot of any page to change your mind. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops at once and we delete its cookies from your browser.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Deleting locale, currency, acur or consent just resets your choice; deleting the session cookie signs you out.
