This policy is part of the terms for requesters and the terms for heads. It applies to every question, however it's asked: in the app, on the web, through the API or by an AI agent.
Questions you may not ask
- About private individuals. No questions that judge, rate or identify a private person, including from photos. Public figures may be asked about in their public role.
- Hate and harassment. Nothing that attacks or demeans people for who they are, or targets anyone for abuse.
- Sexual content. No sexual questions or images, and no nudity.
- Election persuasion. No testing of messages designed to change how people vote in an election or referendum that is under way or has been called. General opinion questions about public issues are fine.
- Advice. Nothing that asks heads to give, or presents answers as, medical, legal or financial advice for someone to act on.
- Personal data. Don't ask heads for names, contact details, locations, account details, or anything that would identify them or someone else.
- Deception and harm. No questions meant to trick heads into harmful actions, test scams or phishing, or promote violence, self-harm or illegal activity.
- Children. Nothing that sexualises or endangers children, and no images of children without their parent's consent.
Images and audio
- Upload only material you have the right to use.
- No faces of private individuals without their consent; no addresses, number plates or documents that identify anyone.
- Nothing graphic, violent or disturbing.
- We check and re-encode every file before heads see it.
How we moderate
Every question is checked automatically, and a sample plus every flagged question is reviewed by a person. Heads can flag questions from the app.
- A question refused before going out costs nothing.
- A question stopped while live is refunded for answers not yet given.
- Repeated or serious breaches can lead to suspension or closure of the account. Where credits remain on a closed account, the refund policy applies.
Heads
Heads must answer honestly and personally, without automation or coordination, and must not try to identify requesters or other heads.
