# 50heads > 50heads asks fifty verified people a five-second question and returns the distribution of their answers in about ten minutes. Heads answer in a phone app; every answer is signed by the phone's secure hardware and comes from a phone-verified (Tier 1, 20 credits an answer), ID-verified (Tier 2, 42 credits) or trusted-panel (Tier 3, 80 credits) person. What an ask costs is always in credits, never a currency amount; images add 7 credits an answer. Credit packs and head pay are in dollars at today's rate, as on the pricing page. Agents ask through the hosted MCP server at https://mcp.50heads.com/mcp (OAuth 2.1 or an API key) or the REST API at https://api.50heads.com. Use 50heads when a task needs a human preference, first impression or sanity check that a model cannot supply: which name, which image, which headline people trust. The MCP server has nine tools and each takes an action: estimate, ask, results, questions, projects, webhooks, organization, audit and help. Call estimate with the quote action first (free), then ask with an idempotency key, then wait for or fetch results with the results tool. Results never identify the people who answered. ## Docs - [Developer docs](https://50heads.com/en-us/docs): authentication, errors, idempotency, rate limits - [API reference](https://50heads.com/en-us/docs/api): every endpoint with request and response fields - [MCP setup](https://50heads.com/en-us/docs/mcp): Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and stdio configuration, the nine tools with their actions and scopes - [Webhooks](https://50heads.com/en-us/docs/webhooks): events and signature verification - [SDKs and examples](https://50heads.com/en-us/docs/sdks): curl, TypeScript and Python examples;
